History of Shirdi Sai Mandir Yazali

Mr. & Mrs. G. Venkateswararao started building the Temple from the beginning on April 4, 2007 as they had an idea to help the inhabitants in and around Yazali village in Andhra Pradesh, which is the native place of Mrs. G. Venkateswararao.

There were no Baba temples around Yazali and this was one persuasive reason that had encouraged Mr. & Mrs. G. Venkateswararao to start constructing this temple in their native place. Also in the remembrance of Mrs. G. Venkateswararao Father Mamidala Venkaya and Chinnana Mamidala Hanumantha Rao.

The construction started in 2007 and the owners felt good seeing their idea materializing in the form of a towering temple. After all, a beautiful temple that could house a number of Sai Baba devotees is all they wanted. Needless to say, the structure was raised only to spread the fame of Sai Baba to all corners in and around Yazali.

Initially poojas were done with an image of Sai Baba in a small hut and these rituals were practised until the Temple construction commenced in 2008. The temple was inaugurated on April 30, 2008 for the public.

Mamidala Family were generous to donate their ancestral property for the benefit of the temple and the people who frequently visit the Temple.  As the temple started becoming popular many contributions and donations were sent in from every direction possible.

This lovely temple with its serene ambience poses to be the dream place for all Sai Baba worshippers in and around Yazali village. With Sai Baba as the main God, this temple also has Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha and Lord Dattatreya as some of the other idols that are positioned here. This is why this place is considered to be a healthy location in which many favourite idols are present along with the saint Sai Baba.

Amongst many other highlights of this temple, the one that would strike most is the Nandhi statue. The statue has grown bigger than what it was when it was erected. Certainly, it is a temple filled with spiritual energy.

Real Incident in Yazali

Sai Baba never leaves his believers and worshippers alone. He always signals his presence doing miracles and letting his followers know that he is still around to save us from any harm that comes our way. In the long run, his actions persuade us to believe in his powers further and thus we increase our devotion to him and his godly principles.

We all see Sai Baba as a medium of care, belief, positivism and never-ending love. But, how many of us are blessed to know the real adventures that he is doing around us? We are glad we identified one of his recent adventures which in fact is considered as a message from our Savior.

This is a true story which lies in the root reason for which the natives of this village are eternally grateful to Shri Sai Baba.

It was just another ordinary night and nothing seemed abnormal. All villagers had hit the sack on time as usual. Suddenly, they heard a continuous ringing sound which nobody expected to come from the temple bells. Everyone who heard that loud sound woke up, got to their feet in a hurry and came out of their houses to check what was wrong. To their surprise, they found a nearby place set ablaze in fire which was turning out to be out of control. However, the timely intimation helped the residents put the fire off in time or else the whole village would have been gulped by fire that was about to spread over. This godly intimation sends down a clear message that only Sai Baba’s divine intervention saved Yazali and its villagers that particular night.

This story is published here as narrated by one of the villagers who is very confident that only a divine thing could save the whole village when things went a bit dangerous risking the lives of its inhabitants.
